Dual Enrollment Program

Clayton State University’s Dual Enrollment Program (previously called "Joint Enrollment") gives students the opportunity to earn college credit while completing their requirements for high school.

Benefits:

-        Courses count for both college and high school credit

-        Courses are fully accredited and widely accepted as transferable college credit

-        Tuition and most fees are covered by the GSFC Accel program

 About the Instructional Site:

-        he Academy for Advanced Studies is located in a new addition to Henry County High School at 401 E. Tomlinson Street, McDonough, Georgia, 30253

-        On site assistance with registration

-        Fully equipped classrooms with wireless internet access

 Dual-Enrollment Options

1. Morning classes during first period

2. Afternoon class during last period

3. Evening classes

Academic Requirements:

     The minimum admission standards for dual enrollment  enrollment

  • Minimum SAT I score of 970, combined Verbal and Mathematics sections, or ACT Composite of 20;
     
  • Minimum cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or higher in courses taken from the required 16 CPC units;
     
  • High school junior or senior
